What we do

Deen Foundation is committed to the provision of free education to those who cannot otherwise afford it. To this end, Deen Foundation has established a religious school near Sialkot, Pakistan. The school provides free education to children of poor families and aims to equip them with the necessary skills to lead a self sufficient adult life.

Providing information about Islam to professional bodies to assist them in making policies relating to the work place is also a fundamental task that Deen Foundation is involved in. Deen Foundation recognises the importance of promoting healthy inter-faith and inter-community relations, and of dispelling misconceived perceptions about Islam in order to facilitate positive and fruitful dialogues.

Deen Foundation is also committed to assisting poor families who cannot afford the costs associated with the marriage of daughters, especially in the Indian sub-continent, where even today the parents of brides are expected to lavish the groom’s family with gifts on the occasion of the marriage. Often parents of girls are forced to delay their daughters’ marriages because they cannot afford these costs. Deen Foundation assists such parents by contributing to essential wedding costs to enable marriages to take place without delay.

Deen Foundation also provides sustenance to poor families by organising Qurbanis and distributing the Qurbani meat to the needy.
